Cherokee, huh?

Hmmm. Wasn't aware of Cherokee bear stories.

Mostly i know about Spearfinger and the Raven Mockers.

Both are Names to Run Away From Really Fast

The bear was important in most of the Native American tribes and nations. Revered for its strength and they did not kill them casually. Being ursamorphs would mean their family was honored and revered by the tribe, if they knew about them.

Isn't Shelly part Cherokee? I know she is part indian. Went back and checked she is part Comanche. But the girls could still be related. After the trail of tears the Cherokee were mixed with a lot of the different tribes in the west.

Ambush questions are fun. Watching the mental impact of them as they distort, or crumble, opinions based on faulty logic.

It does explain the "Shelly" look though. It will be interesting for the Ursa's to meet Shelly and Bia though.

Yes Shelly is Cherokee as were all the other "Shelly analogs" in the Time Forest.

Today's comic makes me incredibly happy. Atsali has excellent style, and it's good to see her making new friends, as well as coming back to herself. The outfit is incredibly cute, as are Nadette and Berdine's. It think they'll make for an excellent group. :D

Gotta say, Atsali's outfit looks rather like a "Naughty Schoolgirl" meme...

"NOOO !!!"... Atsali, now you've gone an' jinxed it... saying "maybe my fear is more than it should have been" is almost as bad as saying "what's the worst that could happen?"...

Yesterday, and today, Nadette, seems very focused on her sister's and Atsali's boobs. Possibly she has a taste for the ladies?

And now they are all the same height - more shapeshifting.

The art is once more awesome. I think I'm gonna like the bear girls a lot.

Actually, wearing a tie is an excellent 'excuse' for having the shirt buttoned all the way up and having no cleavage showing.

The Cherokee describes themselves as Friends of Thunder, but I could not recall any stories about bears.

Did a bit of research and found a couple of interesting Bear tales, Origin of the Bear: Bear Songs and The Bear Man.

As you can read there is some shape changing in the tales of old but not nearly at the same level as the ursa-morphs sisters.
