Be careful Pckle. Someone might wash your mouth out with degreaser.
I guess it's no fun having an adult tag along while you shop.

Especially when you thought you were gonna be unsupervised and unconstrained, unlike your daily life.zachariah wrote:I guess it's no fun having an adult tag along while you shop.

AWW! YOU NEVER LET US HAVE ANY REAL FUN!!!
Re: Not Fair 2013-10-30
I think Sali wants to be treated like an adult. But what 15 year old wants someone to help them shop for clothes. These two probably had a fun day planned shopping together. Taking bets that they try to ditch their MIB agent and be by themselves. As Casey Jones said, "Trouble ahead, trouble behind."

I wonder if the place is called the Paranor Mall?

Sometimes a youngster's "first bad word" doesn't make sense... Castela got the context right!

I'm glad i wasn't drinking anything when i read the strip.

Never underestimate a young child's ability to hear words and then repeat them in proper context.Fairportfan wrote:Pickle FTW!
Well, ok, everyone underestimates that, but I find it amazing how many people are surprised when little kids show off their vocabulary
I still remember my niece at 18 months-2 years of age accidentally knocking over a drink and coming out with a couple of swear words. I think the fact that she got the context right (spill a drink -> swear) show a good grasp of language/usage - ever if I would of preferred an "Oh Bother!" instead
As a CareBearAnarchist I believe in the destruction and overthrow of the perils of society through random and senseless acts of consideration and kindness

Re: Not Fair 2013-10-30
This also tells us that there are lots of paranormals around - enough to make it reasonable to isolate a whole mall to get some shopping done without freaking out the mundanes. Not just the ones we've seen; if this is remotely economic there must be hundreds of paranormals doing their shopping today.

Re: Not Fair 2013-10-30
Out of the mouths of babes...
On the first run for 'Aliens', I offered to take a friend of mine to an afternoon matinee. He couldn't find a babysitter for his three year old daughter and brought her along. I resisted, but I also knew she took those kinds of movies better than dad did. When the got, relatively, near the end, dad was covering his face and chanting 'Oh sh*t, oh sh*t, oh sh*t.' (Actually hiding behind his hands) After a short run of that, the 'lil one started to chant along with him. NOT hiding behind her hands.
I and the three people behind us in the next row were very amused.
When Mama found out about the new vocabulary word, I'm led to believe that there were more words directed at papa.

Wish i could find the run of Foxtrot where Paige was babysitting, watched Jerry Springer, and the four-year-old learnt a new word.

"Oh, no. We'll watch Barney instead, okay?"

I'm still betting that Lily and Suzi get dragged into this.
After today, i'm thinking one assigned to each of the girls...

That makes sense.Fairportfan wrote:I'm still betting that Lily and Suzi get dragged into this.

Better assign Suzi McBride to Atsali. Suzi is a little more laid back, and she isn't the leader who got blamed for the loss of the helicopters due to Atsali's actions. Plus I suspect she would enjoy watching Atsali trying to try on every piece of clothing in the mall.
Lily (WHAT THE HELL DID I DO?!) Pratt gets assigned to Castela. Lily isn't happy, makes Castela unhappy, and things go down hill from there when Castela goes to pieces this Friday. Atsali has to be called in to rescue the situation, and then Kath shows up in "You made my little girl CRY!" mode next Friday.
