I would classify Monica more as a security blanket.
A big question might be who's apartment? Might give us a guess as to which plot complication will knock on the door Monday.

It looks like Jet is crashing at M's place to me. Hang on a bit and let me do an archive crawl and I'll find some strips in M's living room.
I ride my bike to ride my bike, and sometimes it takes me where I need to go.

You know that light at the end of the tunnel?
Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.

I'd say that looks like a very peaceful ending to a long, difficult, but very productive day for the two of them.
Would have been interesting to have been a fly on the wall during the debrief (assuming that it has already taken place to at least some extent). The "How much of that was real?" questions are probably not going to go away for a while...

Depends on whether or not she was wearing a bra in previous strips.KnightDelight wrote:Ohmigosh! Tar was what gave her breasts!

Most likely Monica's place. She could just poit there. She's never been to Georgettes' place so she could not poit to hers. And Georgette is enough in the know now for Monica to have used her poiting ability. I think I recognize those ceiling beams too. But, did she change clothes at some point or is Georgette in her undies? Not that all that matters much in any event.

I would love to see Kevin's reaction to seeing his girlfriend asleep holding a supermodel.

I'll just mention that Mucho Mocha has exposed ceiling beams, only the beams behind the counter have flags, and there could be more than one couch there. So they could just be staying there. After what they've been through I can see them just collapsing and Tina making them comfortable on a couch.

And I was expecting some last minute "OH SH**" moment to hold us through the weekend. Not that I'm complaining one bit, mind you. The demon named Paranoia needs to be wrong at least once in a while.
Whoever coined the phrase "more fun than a barrel of monkeys" obviously never spent an afternoon cramming the little buggers into one.

Ahh, Paranoia, Doubt's best friend. Or is she? Wait, what if I was right before?...

That is definitely Monica's house. Compare to There Was A Girl (right after the Tapestry Retrieval situation).Opus the Poet wrote:It looks like Jet is crashing at M's place to me. Hang on a bit and let me do an archive crawl and I'll find some strips in M's living room.

Amazing what a bathroom break - munchies - and the best coffee in the world - brewed as you like it - combined with the realization other people have been there and survived will do.

Dietzel seems to have been usurped from his favoured spot; perhaps he and Kevin are asleep upstairs having to make do with each other for company.shadowinthelight wrote:I would love to see Kevin's reaction to seeing his girlfriend asleep holding a supermodel.

I don't think Kevin lives with Monica.

On a more serious note, what if this isn't in continuity order? What if this is another of Paul's filler style scenes and we haven't seen the debrief yet? Certainly he'd need a full week of strips unimpeded to work that out, eh?
Seeing what these two have been through in a sleeping/unconscious state, I would have thought these two would have drank enough coffee to wire them for days. If I'd gone through that, I wouldn't want to close my eyes until I could no longer hold them open. Of course, if you've ever been through a mentally/emotionally trying circumstance, it can get quite exhausting.
Monica and Jet have definitely changed clothing since Mucho Mocha... Jet was wearing a button-down blouse (Un-buttoned waaaaay down, no bra) and slacks and now it appears she's wearing boy-shorts and a tank. It stands to reason that Monica has changed as well.
I'd like to see how Tina is de-briefing over this... and who is doing the de-briefing. Maybe she's still in front of the mirror marveling at the color change of her wings... I'm still squeeeeing over that myself.

Re: Moonlight 2013-10-25
Good odds right now Tina is sweating and giving a big sigh over dodging the bullet of harming Jet or Monica. While it kinda worked out in the end there were some very stressful moments for Tina and she has to deal with the aftershock of them. From her behavior she was expecting to be severely punished or killed for what she did. So her biggest feeling should be relief and worry. Worry whether someone will come knocking on the door to ask her about what happened.
Ambush questions are fun. Watching the mental impact of them as they distort, or crumble, opinions based on faulty logic.
