Mr Froggy looks a tad dubious.

Afterwards they went wading and they both found themselves (Say this in a deep voice) Knee Deep.

OK I think we get it that Atsali was a cute little girl with a hyperactive imagination, a female Calvin as it were. I'm also hoping that Pablo's father is recovering as I lost my own father back in November and still remember quite vividly how that felt.

Having said that I'm waiting with bated breath for the return of the story comics. Maybe some backstory that ties into the paintings we have been seeing the last few days.

I still have my froggy, and his twanger still plucks. (I collect frogs, glass, plastic, stone, toys, etc.)

Ya know, this being Wapsi, chances are that's a paranormal frog (parafrog?) or a really-for-reals magicked frog-prince (who politely removed his crown at the table...er, rock)

Of course, i remember Andy's Gang.

And then there was a very special Froggy... (May take a couple seconds to load. It's worth it, in my opinion.)

I remember those blue camping cups, dishes, etc. Good thing little Atsali didn't run out with something that could break into sharp bits; she's well equipped for her play.

Never like Calvin. She is nowhere psychotic enough. The only reason he was never noticed is that all kids are a bit crazy and he never managed to make a big enough disturbance. Though not for lack of trying.

Atsali is trying to convince herself that she's going to find her prince if she has to kiss every frog she sees! Now if she can just get the frogs to cooperate!

No, no, no. Atsali is a siren. The frog is in all probability this frog:

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the large wing in the middle of the picture. Is Phix at the tea party as well (having brought the cookies, of course)? :P Or is this a pre-orphan pic and the wing is one of Atsali's parents?

Could be a wing, could be a branch with leaves. Looks a bit like a very large fern, or similar. They can often be found near ponds. Give that the greenery is impresionistic it is up to the reader to decide for themselves.

I'll go with a plant. it's saying leaf them alone.

Deposits a fine furry fern into the pun jar.
