I was already starting to miss her.

Apparently The Library, or some other power ,decided to intercept Bud's "poit" so she could assist (understatement of the year, more like "save their asses") Kat and Atsali.

Nice timing, be it a bit tight... (like Atsi and Kat's buttocks.. They must be só tight that only dogs can hear them fart...)

That looks more like a "retrieve from crystal" materialization than what we've seen of "normal" stargate travel... much less a poit. Definitely not what I expected to see happen... or who!

If this is Bud, why did she appear this way? If it's Acacia out of storage, why the eyes no glowie? and what the hell has gone amok with the timeline this time?

Pity we can't see down to her feet to look for the grass stains... I'd expect to see the blades of a vorpal sward here.

Yeah, Bud may have taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque, but that's not her poiting. Someone or something caught her, presumably mid-poit, and redrew her in the Mapimi Silent Zone.

Quite useful. Highly out of the ordinary.

1. Where is Atsali now, since she appears to have been replaced by Bud. Did she take over and reconfigure Atsali's body, or swap places?
2. How did Acaci come to be there? If she was trapped inside the computer, does this mean there is more than one Bud?
3. The Bud we all knew and loved appears to be quite a bit smarter than the one in http://wapsisquare.com/comic/sweet-dreams/

Hope this gets sorted out before the Friday cliff hanger.

At least Kathryn's emergency exit just showed up. Bud, assuming it actually is Bud, can poit them both out.

Of course, there is going to be one hell of a mess when the self destruct is finished.

Isn't Bud supposed to be at Yaxchilan (hence the title)?

It may be Bud. When they met up with Brandi, she said Bud had been sent to Yaxchilan (http://wapsisquare.com/comic/last-two/). Seems like a lot of lag though if she's just now trying to get there. Could be she had to use a stargate because she had never been to Yaxchilan before.

EDIT: Oh wait ... She was probably on her way to Mesa Verde FROM Yaxchilan.

Errrmmm... Got it. That's what the holographic map of the Library looked like when Atsali pulled it up.

EDIT: Also, the putting-into-a-crystal sound is "*thip*"; this does not, however, preclude the taking-out-of-a-crystal sound as being "bvvvvvVORP". EDIT2: I had to look thrice to notice Atsali's dematerialization effect; apparently the computer has a sense of self-preservation. Or Atsali's a quick study.

WOOO!! Here comes the Cavalry!! And not a moment too soon.

It really seems to me that we have elements of at least two different stories going on here that have been mixed together. These stories either represent the same basic event from two different event cycles or two different timelines, but they are two essentially separate occurrences that involved the same people and locations under different circumstances and are now being mixed up in their after effects.

It just seems like the different scenes, personalities, comments, references, et al, being revealed are not fitting together as one event but more along the lines of two or possibly more events. (As a perhaps not really good example there's the magically disappearing and reappearing mark on Brandi's face.) I guess what I'm saying is that this story arc is giving off the kind of feel you get from one of those time travel stories where someone keeps changing the past and reconfigures the story's present.
