So, if you pair that with a Taco Bell 7 Layer Burrito, would you call that the Jackpot Combo (7-7-7)?

I guess that answers the question "If a polar bear poops in the Arctic, does it make a sound?".

So, the other day we got a mini snowstorm...only a paltry 12 inches. The @$&#! plow kept scooping up ice and snow and redepositing it back on the bottom foot of my driveway. I am also just getting over a bronchial infection, as is my son. Going outside every other hour until bedtime was not cool, especially getting sprayed with plow crap while shoveling.

As such, I am very sore. I am hoping to trot him off to bed a wee bit early so I can make a lovely fave. Warm up a half shot of Jameson, add a generous dollop of organic clover honey, and a tablespoon of 24 year old ginseng rum. Sweet and smoky and earthy. Then perhaps warm restful sleep without Murphy.

Wish me luck!

Sweet in the throat. Then you can have a wonderful evening.

Unfortunately, it didn't end up working out that way. I ended up getting real sick again due to my not being able to recover properly from said infection.

The allergy season is kicking me currently, so I may end up having the honey with a nice tea, and a splash of Jameson nightly to try and prevent the annual "Dinky gets bronchitis from allergies" event. Not sure how well that will work, but at least it will taste lovely, ne?

@Dinky -
Have you tried finding a local beekeeper selling local honey? Honey made from pollen from plants you're allergic too helps pollen allergies; in-store mass-produced honey is usually not local.

Then make yourself some mead - presto! Honey beer that fights allergies. ;)

I only use local honey, and wish I had better luck getting bee pollen caps, but not many beekeepers make or sell them anymore. I put the honey into warmed Jameson, does that count?

Yup, that counts. Now, if I could just find bees that could make honey out of pet dander, I'd be RICH! And they laughed at me at Bayer! LAUGHED! Soon I will avenge myself on those - er, 'scuse me, it's time for my medication.

If you use it for a mixed drink you can call it the "Sweet Nudge". ;)
