It creates another Pun Jar in the Pun Jar... but when viewed from within the outer Pun Jar, the inner Pun Jar appears to be a Black Hole the same mass of the Outer Pun Jar. Because gravity propagates at the speed of light, the event horizon of that black hole would expand at about the same rate as the outer pun jar's boundaries are expanding.

Basically, this would happen.

It's bad in a good, geeky way.

I know a frightening percentage of other wise good Texans that prefer propane over a real fire. I have always, and continue to use charcoal with a nice smoking wood added after the lighting ceremony.

"Bad" is such a subjective judgement, really.

Objectively, it's proof that you've been hanging out in a nerdy, intellectually stimulating part of the Net, with a crowd of nerds who exhibit exceptionally bent senses of humor.

Subjectively... I suspect that you could go into any state in the Union, and quickly locate a sizable group of upright, right-thinking Americans who would consider the question and quickly conclude that you were in urgent need of reproach, reeducation, and/or having your brain run through a vat of sheep-dip in order to reset it to a more "usual" and less threatening mode of operation.

On the other hand, there is a sizable group of intellectually stimulated nerds with bent senses of humor who would simply say "It's brilliant, carry on!"

I'm one of the latter, of course.

I'm going to say that it looks pretty damn brilliant to me. Then again, my favorite home-cooked steaks aren't grilled. They're seared in a cast iron skillet and cooked (for a very short time on either side) in the oven.

I think he's made himself a rather nice vacation home for himself there. I'm sure as hell ain't gonna go in there. I'm not nearly a skilled enough punster to navigate in there.

The architects tell me that won't work. No one has ever been removed from a pun vault by pulling from the outside.

The only way which actually works, is to send someone else into the Vault, who can tell enough really bad puns to generate a whole bunch of pressure. Enough pun-pressure can expel the Vault's previous resident with a loud explosion that sounds oddly like "Berwyn!!!"

Of course, then you have a new and possibly more incorrigible punster-in-residence to worry about.

Oh... the book I was misquoting was of course "A Tale Of Two Cities". The title alone should be enough pun-tinder to get you started.
