Discrepancy?

We know that Mayahuel created Tepoz first, as a test case. then had herself golemized and only later were the three GGGs formed. But here,
http://wapsisquare.com/comic/thosepoorgirls/ , Tepoz says that the girls were killed centuries before he came along. Now, it may have been centuries before they were given into his care, but he was certainly there. Any thoughts? Or am I being too nit-picky?

"Came along" may mean "arrived on the scene and got involved" rather than "was created". Tepoz may very well have been elsewhere (in another part of the world) when the priests used Mayahuel's techniques to kill and golemize the three girls.
