Facebook, twitter, what-have-you... as far as I am concerned, they are scary places where your words are TOO available to the public and I often say things that might get me arrested... but for Wapsi, well... let me consider that...

The reasons why any sane person ditches Meta: prolonged cases of idiocy.

I never joined . . . I get enough idiots at work.

At least I don't have to deal with the general public . . . just MBAs that think their will overrides reality.

How's this for stupid:

I haven't been 8n my Facebook account in years, primarily because I'd forgotten my password (do to lack of use), and the reset procedure is to have me send a request to three or four FB friends, asking for a confirmation.

Catch-22, The Friends they choose are only FB aquatintises. I HAVE NO other acces to them, can't ask them to reply, etc.

Considering how hard they work to keep you trapped there, it is rather stupid of Facebook to have the reset procedure rely on you knowing people by other means.

(Had an account for a few years, never used it, deleted it.)
