Youuuuu're Despicable.
And don't worry, I may be crazy, but I'm more P.T. Barnum crazy than Sparky crazy. Having said that, did you know that your motherboard has a resonance frequency, and the diagnostic sysbeep mike can be used to make a pitch at any number of frequencies? Why bother crashing your opponent, when he can just boot from backup using ICE in minutes, when you can blow up his motherboard and force him to replace hardware? Just something for Glytch to keep in mind next time someone starts being obnoxious.
Don't give him any ideas!!!!
Yanno how some people have Angels/Devils for a conscience? I have a Dark Elf ShadowKnight and a Half Elf Ranger for mine. The really bad part is when they agree on something.

Did you know that the discs in a hard drive will stop .45 ACP ball, but not .30-06 AP? Sometimes they'll stop or deflect .30-06 ball, too.

It's rather difficult to set up a thermite charge via the Internet. I know a guy who can melt your computer without ever leaving his couch... I'll have to tell him about the resonant frequency beep trick.

Back in the day, there was a way to fiddle with the power going to the monitor. Keep in mind, this was back when you had CRT monitors. Basically, it blew out your monitor and had shards of glass exploding outward to the person sitting at the keyboard. But that went out the door when BUS drivers went BIOS Firmware instead of software, and modern day flat-screens don't have that capability. You can set up a feedback squeal through speakers, though, depending on what sound drivers they are using.

I bore witness to a few unpleasant incidents involving thermite. One was a teacher trying to explain why chemistry was dangerous and was going to demonstrate by slagging a steel block. Unfortunately, he got the quantity wrong, I think he used ounces instead of grams. End result was melting the block, the desk, the floor, the desk downstairs, the floor under that, and put a crater in the basement that went through the foundation and into the dirt before it wore out. The other... was less amusing, and ended up with the nice polite fellows in the suits and ray-bans showing up and escorting someone off.

The best part about thermite is you can get the two ingredients, finely ground, as pigments in some paint shops. It's not really that expensive, either.

You can get one for free at practically any junkyard and the other is generated by most geeks in impressive quantities as a byproduct of consumption, although you have to powder it yourself. Granted, it is exceedingly more convenient to do as you mention, however it leaves a more obvious paper trail. Purchasing both substances in quantity at the same time tends to set off the same sorts of flags that someone not in the agriculture industry purchasing bulk quantities of certain types of fertilizer will set off, and generally will result in being quietly visited by those nice young men in suits and ray-bans for a quiet chat about your intents.

Typically those sorts of flags are handed off to the kids while the more experienced agents deal with the real threats.

"Oh, that? That's just a mock-up. You can open it up and note that there is a complete lack of any actual nuclear material. Also note that there are no explosives actually loaded into the device, although I do have the license for said explosives should I ever encounter any. Being an Aggie in the engineering corps, I occasionally work with that sort of thing. No, I'm not planning on doing any fireworks for the New Year. Yes, I have the licenses to pick up the big ones, but the city rejected my proposal to use the river as a detonation zone, so I would have nowhere to safely launch them, making the point moot. No, I wasn't planning on combining the two substances, I was planning on using them to make maroon and white fireworks. Now that the plan is over, I plan on returning them for a refund."

How can you tell a building was designed with 'Aggie Engineering'?

"How the hell...?" is the first thing to come out.

Cash, hoodie, and park the car around the corner. Also, shop in a rural, poor area... Less money floating around, so the security cameras aren't as good. And never buy at the same time or the same place. Preferably a minimum of one state away.

If you're really a troublemaker, park the car fifteen minutes away and remove the license plates before continuing, then park the car around the corner. Walk with a limp, lower your voice, speak softly, and use an accent. Don't remove the hood or baseball cap. If using a baseball cap, use spray-on hair dye and never look up. Hunch your back and keep your knees bent, especially when near any door frames.

Also, put your phone in the fridge before leaving home.

Can you tell I've spent waaay too much time thinking about this?
