Because of this post, The Rule 34 boys will love this one, I've yielded to temptation, but not for the sake of Rule 34. Here is Atsali No Pajamas without the boob tape, without exaggeration, and without caricature. Her hemocyanin has been considered. This is presented in the vein of previous representations of Shellnix and Pratt/McBride which were revealing but contextual.

NSFW link because normal "female presenting nipples" (whatever that's supposed to mean, Tumblr!).

Alluring, yes. Erotic, somewhat. Art, hell yes. Porn, no.

PW has graduated into a fine anatomist with his art and his poses. His works are great to appreciate and to study.

That's... not bad.

I could only mention personal preferences, in terms of any alterations, and even then the nudges would be both subtle and minimal.

Besides the personal, I might mention a bit of shading to enhance the depth & 'chunkiness' of perspective and translucency...

After removing the tape X, I followed and filled in the shadow line, then added the features. I then clipped the shadow line to overlay and darken them. So the shading is there, just faint to match the original. Yay for layer mode options!

Wow - now there's a callback! Glad the quote tag has that little arrow pointing back to the original post!

Ever since someone mentioned that Photobucket has changed their policies (again) and that the previously broken-linked photobucket images were now available again in their full splendor in the fanart thread, I started re-reading it from the beginning... (Unfortunately, some image links are still broken, but mostly from other photo hosting sites - particularly ImageShack...)

As is my wont, I also have the habit of following most of the outside links provided in the various posts, whether they be to other artists that served as inspiration, blogs and videos on artistic tips, or YouTube song videos of various kinds.

The post from which I quote is no different...

Holy Carp! The Bee Gees in 1963(I was but a year old at the time) singing 'Blowing in the Wind'...
More amusing than the wind-up dolls jokes at the beginning of the video, I found their seating arrangement to be an exercise in perspective... While they weren't sitting far from each other, their size difference, and how they lined themselves up diagonally, from tallest to shortest, reminded me of images in drawing books about perspective, vanishing point, and so on...

(Yes, I can get amused rather easily, at times...)

Continuing my re-read-through of the fanart thread... Felt I needed to comment on this:

Ditto.

But I still refuse to grow up!

I've read something like this elsewhere, can't remember where (more than one place, so I couldn't source it anyway...)

This is Dave's fault.

Recreating the missing portions of the background were a pain.
