"Why would a haddock kill himself?"
So, what seafood restaurant in your area specializes in suicidal haddocks?
He said given a choice, he'd prefer Battered Cod(as opposed to being caught the normal way), Steelhead(they're only popular in football(rugby) season) or Salmon(not to be confused with that Grundy guy)...for the halibut(his joke). ...And now for something completely
different.

He's currently tried Skate, Belt(both common in Korean cooking), Catfish, Perch, Tilapia, Swai, Ahi Tuna, Asahi Tuna, Salmon, Steelhead, Cod, Bluegill(that I caught, cleaned and prepared, but he glosses over that part), and a few others that have names that escaped me. We have in general a Friday fish dish, unless I get that jingle sung to me earlier in the week. My favourite is to take Salmon filets, freeze them slightly, then place in foil sheets(I get the bulk box of them because they are precut), rub Garlic and Saffron on them(about a nice pinch per filet rubbed in your palm to "powder" it), drizzle Key Lime and Lemon juice over them, and top with freshly milled pepper. I have a toaster oven just the perfect size, so I bake them at 425 for 30-45 minutes depending on size of fillet. Served with Saffron Rice(I use
this rice), and put in a pinch of Saffron. I also prepare seaweed sheets(often found in grocers section listed as Laver), by coating them with sesame oil and a light pinch of salt, then lightly toasting them over an open flame. It's a light, healthy, filling dish, and it has become my son's favourite meal.
Yanno how some people have Angels/Devils for a conscience? I have a Dark Elf ShadowKnight and a Half Elf Ranger for mine. The really bad part is when they agree on something.
Aphyon chu kissa whol l'jaed.
