Re: Mapimi Desert 2103-01-29
Ah, and now the worm turns back to The M.I.B. and the New Girls on the block. I kinda wonder how she will react to vampires and a Jaguar Girl. ;) If certain recent suggestions about Katherine are anywhere near on target, the real question may be how the vampires will react to her! They do ha...

Re: "Tsilla" - from the Hebrew
Thanks for reminding me that Tubal-Cain is the secret word if mentioned in a courtroom will compell the judge to rule in your favor since all judges are secretly Masons. (according to News Radio) Well Tubal-Cain is the first master metal-smith so maybe it was a way to get good jewelry. But, somehow...

Re: "Tsilla" - from the Hebrew
Yup... there was some discussion of that in the late, lamented Comments section, on the day when she first gave her name (a couple of days after she first appeared on the scene). It seemed like a great choice at the time, given her power over shadow... and now that we know more about her nature, it ...

Why not upholster them with Floridian Pythons? It would kill two birds with one stone... Too common. Give me something upholstered in an exotic material like platypus fur. 8-) This strikes me as somewhat similar to the huge civilian Humm-V that Dilbert's pointy-haired boss acquired, several years a...

My friend, you clearly have a stiltoned sense of humor. You really should loosen up a bit, and I'm syr you would feel better. Pule yourself a beer, kick back and relax and enjoy the sights... Euryale and her sisters are due to arrive soon. Gorgons, oooh la!

He really needs to cut down on his Jimson weed consumption. Even the Carnieville Nine wouldn't approve of that sort of behavior.

Second, Katherine is just unusual enough in appearance that I'm willing to raise the bet to 2000 quatloos that Kath is more than she appears, even if she isn't aware of it. Between her conversations with Oscar and her unusual eyes with little or no sclera showing, I think she's more than human. I'v...

Nice, but only a filler. Let's get on with the story!!!!   I swear, I can just hear Pablo quoting directly from a Warner Brothers character as he reads that comment. As a side note: what's happening with Jin nowadays? Is she doing anything in the background... or has she gone on vacation? Excuse the language, but I think Jin's primary concern anymore is fucking Alan's brains out, period. (Tries to resist; fails miserably) Do golems have periods? or would that b...

This is Pablo's world, so he can put it anywhere he wants. ;) Another thought just came to mind: what if our real "chessmaster" - the one who put everything into motion, the one who initiated everything that would eventually lead to "making everything right" - no longer knows th...

There are no words in the English language to accurately describe the amount of fail the OP describes. Even doubleplusfail does not encompass the totality. That's a fact. This is the kind of thing to make one facepalm hard enough to give oneself a concussion. http://electronictiger.net/avail/dfp.jp...

Shadow, that last one isn't realistic. I've seen how things actually happen at those big clearance sales, and it's nowhere near this polite and civilized!

And the looks going back and forth between the two vampires agree, in conveying the same basic message: "I simply have no words adequate to describe how completely and surreally out of our depths we are!"

It's probably due to your settings in FB, I'm guessing. Just guessing, but if a person's FB privacy settings are something like "Only let my friends see my page and content", then that person's FB comments on the Wapsi site may not be generally visible... not even to that same person when...

You're saying that her ire of fire could be dire, if Ms. Grumpy Pants lets loose her rants? If she's grumpy, we'll end up lumpy?
Oh. OK. You're probably right.

Re: What could you do with a $35 credit card size computer?
I must admit to some skepticism about the cross-ocean boat. Not that I doubt the Pi's ability to act as a control module and manager... it looks as if it should have plenty of cyberpower to handle a job like that... run a GPS, maintain a map, etc. But... a "130 watt solar panel" on a boat ...
