Apparently she decided to give him the answer by tapping with her tongue on his molars in Morse code. Will he be able to decipher it the first time, or will she have to repeat the process until the message gets through?

Re: Not Fair 2022-05-04
Hopefully this communication is actually happening, and isn't just something such as Hiroshi projecting an image of Mindy so that his conscience can nag at him, or Mindy imagining what she ought to say to Hiroshi. Given that Cricket the (presumably) full-blooded fae was able to craft imaginary frien...

And since the next update isn't until Monday, poor Mindy and Hiroshi are going to be stuck in that position for four days! We've already seen that Mindy is self-conscious about her appearance and what people might expect of her due to that, and being known to be a descendant of a goddess associated ...

But wouldn't Hiroshi know his sister was his tutor when Mindy started talking about her? It's been shown that fae have rather warped minds, so Hiroshi might be used to his sister doing weird stunts like this and can just roll with them. Of course, if Mindy does eventually figure things out, it will...

Having one of them be a chemical light-stick is a good idea. "Intrinsically safe" (cannot spark an explosion), waterproof, can produce at least some light for quite a few hours, comes in multiple light-colors so you can color-coordinate with your outfits, or use different colors to mark d...

I have a couple of small ferro rods, actually, but I should probably get one of the larger ones. From what I hear, you're supposed to keep at least three different methods of starting a fire in your survival kit, but all I have are lighters and a few small ferro rods. A magnifying lens works nicely...

Never eat Digit’s brownies. Depends on which bugs she uses, and what plants those bugs have recently been feeding on. Aphids can taste sugary, ants can taste zesty, termites can taste nutty. . .you have all sorts of flavour and texture options to perk up your baked goods! I wonder what she thinks o...

Ha! The canteen pouch I ordered arrived. While it is certainly different from the canteen pouches I was issued in basic, it will hold the metal cup with the older metal canteen (not sure how old, but it definitely predates the plastic ones with the drinking valve that connects to a gas mask), and I...

That nose kinda reminds me of something in a sci-fi movie - Space Wars , or something like that? http://forum.wapsisquare.com/download/file.php?id=1991 You do get quite a view from those windows. I don't recall ever getting to be near a B-29, but I did once get to ride in the nose of a B-17. Probab...

Re: More Stuff
I tried on my poncho today, just to get a look at the thing, and I noticed that there's a string in there, kind of like what would be used for a drawstring, but it isn't set up as one. It's clearly meant to be there, but I have no clue what it's for. I don't recall seeing one on the poncho I was is...

I had also noticed that a lot of my small tools have lanyard holes, so I was thinking... Why not have all of them on midline loops on the same cord, so I don't have to keep cutting cordage? I don't actually know if that's a good idea or not, as I'd be pulling out several small things every time I n...

When you mentioned Flecktarn cammo, I flashed on the WWI German hexagonal aircraft cammo. You don't need subdued colors to be effective when breaking up outlines! If you've got a bright, vivid environment, then you use bright, vivid camouflage. I've seen vehicles painted bright pink, because they w...

Which reminds me, I saw a video once that was showing off a spool of paracord that looked like a tape measure, and it had a blade on it to cut it as needed, so that could be a decent addition. Then you have the extra weight of the dispenser to carry around, which might not be much by itself but eve...

Re: More Stuff
I ordered a MOLLE vest earlier, and it comes with eight pouches with the Flecktarn pattern. In the picture, two that look very similar to the compass pouch the US military uses are attached to the vest, at the shoulders, and there are six large pouches that sit lower. I know I'm going to put at lea...
