Re: Battery-free toys and games

Legos (I'm using the PLURAL there) and Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars are all over my desk. Oh, and a couple of stuffed animals, too.

Re: Friggin Dead 2012-10-04

Actually, it would make sense, if the position of "Jaguar Girl" was akin to the role of the Slayer in the Buffyverse.

Jaguar Girl dies, title goes to another who dies at the same time - but returns from the dead.

Re: Not Stuck 2012-10-05

Sorry, only once in this whole time did she have someone revisit their pain, and that was more or less necessary to the plot.

Because if she never did it, we'd have never known just how Bud, Brandi (and eventually Jin) ended up as Golem Girls.

Re: Friggin Dead 2012-10-04

How about a situation where "A" and "The" Jaguar Girl can both be true -- there's one Jaguar Girl at a time. That would imply that someday there will be another, so M is still a mortal of sorts, although there might be partial loopholes (suppose her body only ages when it's &quo...

"Elmyra" was her name. A takeoff on Elmer Fudd.

...or just maybe it'll take a complete screwup by a bunch of people who would be better suited to work at Foot Locker instead of being thrust onto a football field in front of millions of viewers.

The Screwup In Seattle. For those of you who honestly don't care about football: The Green Bay Packers lost to the Seattle Seahawks last night because - and there's no way of delicately saying this - the referees f'ed up. The NFL is using "replacement referees" because of an ongoing disput...

Re: Electric Cars - The Pros And Cons

That's about the only reason why people in Northern Wisconsin could use electric cars without issue - until, of course, it turned December.

However, it has been management/ownership that has been asking for more, more, more in recent years. In this case, though, the product on the field has suffered greatly with these idiots on the field. Scottie W did, in fact, come out on the side of "bringing the real refs back". Of course,...

Re: Electric Cars - The Pros And Cons

The obvious answer for a long-haul trip would be to go to campgrounds that have electric sites. KOA's around the country usually have Kamping Kabins that you can rent out by the night. The only problem, of course, is that you have to bring bedding with your clothes and toiletries. And, of course, KO...
