Re: Super Sturdy 2015-01-13
The last panel is pretty conclusive proof the talisman does not affect Nadette at all. It only affects the wearer. Or someone touching the wearer, because unless Nadette was so startled that she couldn't even instinctively shift to a form that could have fallen more safely, she was frozen too. Hope...

Having them around may save us the trouble of driving down to Grainger for a new supply of WAGs. ;) Or making the run to Gladewater. I'm shocked... shocked!... to learn that you'd make such a suggestion. heh Figured it'd be you if anyone. In fact, now that i think about it, it'd be a short sharp sh...

Re: Super Sturdy 2015-01-13
Hm... another wardrobe note. Earlier that day, Nadette's shirt had a rather demure, small, round neckline . It now has a pretty deep V-neck . Whatever cleavage she's sporting at the moment (a shapeshifter who can fake clothes , surely can adjust that too), it's showing. She's checking out Atsali's ...

Brian Clemens, created TV "Avengers", dead at 83
The screenwriter and producer Brian Clemens , responsible for hit shows including The Avengers, The New Avengers and The Professionals, has died aged 83. His son George said he died in hospital in London on Saturday. George Clemens said his father had been working with him and his brother Samuel on...

Re: Hold on 2015-01-12
mythical being must be a heckuva lot more durable than normal humans, because a normal human Atsali's size who fell that far and that fast with another normal human Nadette's size falling on top of her would be pavement pizza, and would not be sitting up bemoaning her battered bosom. Consider the w...

Re: More Stuff
My point is that that only applies to bottles like the one i photographed, where the shaker is integral to the top. More spices that i buy come in bottles with screw-off lids than come in bottles with the integral-shaker tops, and those were the ones i was talking about. Actually, I believe my poin...

Re: More Stuff
In this case, the shaker is integral to the lid. It's actually easier to NOT fit a shaker to bottles where it's not an integral part of the top - take a look at one - you'll probably see a smaller (or larger, depending on the product) hole in the center of the shaker disk. Look inside the screw-on ...

Okay, so here is the top (a shaker top) of a bottle of spices Helen bought at Aldi: Heh... yeah, I've seen the like. I imagine that the companies like to buy/stock just one type of bottle cap/seal/dispenser arrangement, and have one production line process "fill bottle, press-glue on the "...

I am having a sad that no one picked up the oblique Winger pun. Why go for the Winger pun, when the Stray Cats are available? Especially since we've seen some of her T-shirts, and because of her status at school, the line "my little rock'n'roll queen" is quite apropos. (The only real stum...
