Re: Wapsi Color Reference
Ooers, I'll have to steal your color sheet and color something fun. Now to decide what? Maybe the Bud in weird clothes in winter, that's been a favorite of mine ever since I realized I own that same weird outfit...

Oh man, maybe that explains my son - he must have eaten a farting fish as a baby, and I never noticed.

Re: Anyone else save strips?
I used to digitally archive strips on my computer, but I've changed computers so many times since starting to read this strip, I decided to just start at the beginning when I want story, then ask the comic wizards in the forums/comments if I needed help hunting down a particular scene. I think that ...

As a person who builds walls and classifies my world via organization and observation, I totally understand Monica's reticence to play with the untrained Sphinx... Shelly is a fantastic person, but even she has admitted to being afraid of herself and what she can do. Monica is a lot less magical-hea...

Anyone else save strips?
As in, don't read every day, but wait a few days then gorge on Wapsi? I find myself waiting until 3 to 5 strips have been posted, then I read through them to get more in one go... I wonder what that says about me, psychologically?

Why is it when the kids are here, I just want them to be quiet for 5 minutes, and now that they are in school, the house seems waaaaay too silent?

Whyyy does the fluffy poodle feel the need to sleep on my feet when it's ninety degrees at night? Why can't he sleep on the bed near my feet? Aren't my feet bony and lumpy and weird to sleep on?

Re: Random Thought of the Day
I had a fish that actually said "Bloop", but he was a carnival fish and only lasted a week because some of his scales had been bitten off before I got him. His name was Uncle Henry.

I'll look into nettle - and I'm sure part of my problem with both local honey and antihistamines is my difficulty in remembering to take them daily. :? My ENT says that my eustachian tubes are abnormal, in that they are the size of a six year old's and that their angle is inverted - instead o...

I Hate Ragweed!
Just venting - it's now ragweed season where I live, and I am dealing with the stuffy nose, itchy eyes, and resulting sinus and ear infections. Anyone else want to join me in the hay fever club? I use a combination of allergy medicine, nasal irrigation, and frustration to battle my allergies. But if...

Can't believe I forgot to mention the SyFy mini series (2 or 3 episodes, I think?) Tin Man. It's a really interesting take on Oz, years later with a descendant of the original Dorothy Gale.

Re: Steampunk Characters & Costuming
I even got a gem encrusted magnifying glass to examine the feet... I also got the neato job of putting Dorothy's ruby steampunk boots on her feet in the magic scene. My kids were also dance soloists, as members of the Lullaby League and the Lollipop Guild - my son got a lollipop taller than him. htt...
