Re: Yeah That 2012-09-28
Hehe. You know, partly or completely OT, I just happened to watch the film Dragonslayer, and I'd forgotten how good it was.

Re: Random Thought of the Day
As an infrequent flyer, I always find it annoying when the plane touches down and they say something like, "Thank you for choosing to fly Cheapo Airlines". The fact is I've never chosen my own airline, and I suspect 99% of business and holiday travellers don't either. It's always the trave...

Browser issue
It may just be because I'm running an old version of IE, but sometimes when I try to look at the latest page nothing appears except the ad banner and the background. Going to an archive page and then clicking on "Latest" usually fixes it. I can view the page OK on Opera and Chrome, but for...

I applied lateral thinking to the problem. In other words, I think she went through laterally.davids4250 wrote:How does Nudge get those horns through those narrow doorways?

Re: Anyone else save strips?
I have every single strip neatly packed into single-year folders. With backup copies. And that's not all - I actually have complete runs of every webcomic I've ever liked, including a couple that went dark. I'd love to repost those for the benefit of humanity, but sadly I'm too much of an honest sou...

Re: What is one of your favorite webcomics, and why?
I just realized that all of us except Fairportfan failed the objective on this thread... What is one of your favorite comics and why? :P Oh well! :) We're just overzealous fans. Me? I don't see anything from me. Yet. Heh. Whoops! I saw a redheaded avatar and didn't read the name under it. It was Pr...

Just as well. Archive.org is almost guaranteed not to have a cache of the file you want most.Atomic wrote:Ah! Well good luck then. At least you won't have to sift everything through Archive.org first, from the sounds of it.

Re: How'd you find WS? (secretly & slightly on-topic)
I'm one of those people with a lousy memory for where I found things, especially on the web. I'm guessing it was through a recommendation from some other webcomic, but I couldn't tell you which one to save my life.
I'm just glad I did.

Re: What is one of your favorite webcomics, and why?
Michael Stearns' Dawn of Time is a lot of fun, even though it only ran for three years, July 2008-2011, and 305 strips. It's the story of a crazy cavegirl and her adventures with dinosaurs, time travellers, and even the Grim Reapers. Both of them. (It makes sense in context.) The link is to the firs...
