Re: Antifreeze 2012-09-21
Monica has been Gorgonized three times now. You've gotta wonder how many people have survived being zapped three times, and what the cumulative effect might be. Ah, thank you -- I was wondering if anyone was keeping track of how frequently M gets frozen by Euryale. Now -- is it true that every time...

M & Phix need to make up, yes, but there also needs to be some Phix and Shelly time too -- it would be good for Shelly to know her grandmom better, and get that side of things out into the open.

Re: Wapsi Color Reference
Heh. You showed M's shirt color as a "pink" -- that may be true, except when she's wearing her 8-Ball shirt. (Of course.)

Re: Board Requests (Mods?)
I don't care what you want to do -- just want to do the right thing to get that stuff removed. There's a little !-in-a-triangle icon just above each posting, just to the left of "quote". If you click it, it'll take you to a spam-reporting form, which I assume notifies the Wielders of the ...

Re: Board Requests (Mods?)
Is there some way to send a pm to the moderators? As in -- there's a spam post in the main pub room, and I just wanted to report it for moderation. (I sent a manual pm, but it complained that the 6 moderators were too many to send a PM to, so only 5 got it. Plus, it took a bit to remember all of the...

Re: Headphone suggestions?
I'll agree with Bookworm on that -- places like Radio Shack have had some pretty good headphones for not so much money (I've been quite satisfied at the time). I do recommend the "around the ear" type, rather than the "squish your ears flat" kind, as they're much more comfortable...

Re: Quirky Girl
Well -- I see that the Forum Rules posted on the top of each page *does* say to do that: When two threads are posted for a day's comic, the thread posted first becomes the starting post. Please delete the second thread and add your post to the first thread. When naming the thread: Comic Name YYYY-MM...

Re: Headphone suggestions?
I commute to work a long distance on the train. About 1.5 hours each way, most days. To me, one of the best investments I ever made was to get my Bose QC15 (and the QC2 before them) Noise Cancelling around-the-ear headphones. They even work well in Airplanes. Yes, they cost about $300, but they're q...

Re: Quirky Girl
Slightly off-topic, but related to the new forums and threads. Can we all agree to put the strip title *AND* the strip date in the initial subject line? That way we can easily go from thread to thread looking at new stuff, and do so in strip order, without having to remember which came first... (Per...

Re: Doing This [2012.07.30]
I would like to know how that umbrella defies gravity like that - I've often wanted to attach one to something so it doesn't fall over. You can get "beach chair" umbrellas -- they have a little clamp on the bottom that you can attach to your beach chair back, then adjust where you need it...
