Re: VW: Six {engineering} generations of fraud
Personally, I'd have loved to have seen a resurgence of the VW Station Wagon. For those not old enough to remember them, think an SUV on a car frame, with a car's gas mileage and handling. Also typically lower to the ground so better handling. If they had wanted to be more ecologically friendly, th...

It would wreck the mad-scientist gig, that's for sure. Experience gained is directly proportional to equipment destroyed, and electronic equipment in particular is powered by the Magic Blue Smoke stored in the circuitry. yep... and when that piece of electronic equipment has emitted it's puff of ma...

Well, I may not have a job anymore. My supervisor came up and said today was my last day, because the higher-ups were making him get rid of a couple people. He said he didn't think it was fair to fire someone who comes to work every day to work , and they might be able to transfer me to the other N...

Well, the thing is, I don't write checks, and I've never ordered any. Granted, I know how to write a check, I just haven't needed to. AH!.. Gotcha. I'm pretty much a cash only kind of guy for every-day type stuff, and credit card for the big-ticket items, and i haven't written an actual paper check...

Well, the console had to go back to the shop for diagnosis, as it still wasn't reading discs. The new drive is under warranty, so I don't think I need to pay for the diagnostic, at least. Knowing my luck, it'll be something other than the damn drive. Also, my paycheck wasn't deposited, and I turned...

I went to the mountain with my brother for the first time in more than a month. My brother is going through trail camera videos, and apparently there hasn't been any hogs near the trap in two weeks. We may need to call in some air support... I am assuming that there is still evidence that there are...

while the drywall is still removed, now is the best time to look for and repair any leaks on any of the pipes, AND you really should spray some mold-killer thoroughly on every piece of lumber that will be remaining in place so as to prevent 'black-mold' from growing in the soon-to-be-enclosed spaces...

Re: "Far to the North" - a webcomic
RWBY is an American made (here in Texas, actually) anime style cel shaded CGI cartoon. It was created by Monty Oum (RIP :() of Haloid fame. Each volume is written like a movie but released broken up as episodes. I don't know what to call RWBY besides "awesome." That is an accurate descrip...

Welp. Now I have another webcomics to keep track of. I'm amazed I haven't accidentally mixed up my webcomics in my head. Like story details, or names... I'm having a helluva time just keeping track of the names of RWBY characters... i haven't read the RWBY one, but FttN is a pretty good one, i thin...

Right... With Ali's boxing, I could plainly see the strategy going on. There was complex thought happening. Ali taunted Foreman into a rage to make him keep punching and tire himself out to the point where he couldn't even hold his gloves up. MMA is people beating the shit outta each other. It's li...
