Re: Character Index

Macros have limited use in Word Disagree. I have a Word template in development with several macros - including some that auto-execute whenever a document based on that template is created, or gains focus, or loses focus - relating to the creation of a specific sort of document for a specific envir...

Back to the subject of the comic:

What Nadette says to Atsali here might not be the best thing she could possibly have said, but it's pretty darn good for a kid her age.

I'm sure that in those bad time "counseling" consisted of someone putting their hand on your shoulder and telling you to "buck up". Mr. Meadows doesn't strike me as that sort... but he does seem to be one of the ordinary caretakers with however-many kids to take care of, not abl...

This is a critical moment. Part of the reason Atsali has valued her friendship with Da Bears is that they provided some shelter from the horndog boys who've been sniffing around her. Now...there's every possibility that she'll feel as if Nadine has been doing the same thing. Yeah, it definitely rem...

Nadette is still trying to get Atsali, who wants her to succeed and who doesn't? I'm in Team Nadette. Who is on Team Jacob? Daniel. This might not end as well as Nadette expects. Nadette's a Seer. She may know what's coming. Or she may not. She seemed to know where Atsali and Jacob...

PS- having now seen the new comic I recall the old saw; "I feel like a Lesbian, trapped in a man's body..." I've been there. Very literally. Sometimes it's painful. And I'm mostly-neutral genderfluid. Not transgender. I know my gender dysphoria will go away in an hour or two and probably ...

The old expression "bright-eyed and bushy-tailed" definitely comes to mind here. The best laid plans of mice // moose // bears and men... Outcome uncertain. Try again. ... who told you about the moose? Bullwinkle? Or maybe Rocky? Bullwinkle's plans rarely worked as expected. And Sydney's p...

T-rexes don't always fight. Sometimes they're downright benevolent. The shark laughed, a terrible sound - quiet and dry, and violent under its humor. "That's well said, Nita," he said when the laughing was done. "You're wise not to lie to a shark - nor to tell him that particular tru...
