Not unless they swallow the skins first. (And do you know what blood-eaters' poop looks like? Tar. Look up vampire bats in Wikipedia.)
Ah, but what are natural sausage skins made of?
Failed legislation 8-)

Re: Ninja bookends

My bookshelves tend to end so full that I don't need bookends... no room for them. What I need is bookclamps - perhaps in three dimensions. Or possibly bookdikes. Or access to L-space.

Just remember, you don't have to run faster than the sphinx.

You just have to run faster than the vampire next to you.

all I'm seeing is a repeat of when Monica brought Katherine to the Library for the first time... I dunno... considering how Phix referred to vampires as being "like shitty mosquitoes" and saying that Shelly could kill them without feeling guilty... I have a feeling that Phix's reaction mi...

Considering how the Library is known to hold copies of all books ever written, even those whose every Earthly printing has been destroyed, I find it hard to believe that Pablo was able to resist the temptation to title this strip ...

Hee. I like the offsetting in the last panel - lean forward/lean backward, dark hair/light hair, light/dark jacket, dark/light blouse, frowny/grinny... :D ... and the way that the angle between their bodies echoes the Tsillah / Monica interaction in the panel above, which also has its own offsettin...

I suppose it's not technically a wardrobe malfunction, if the piece of clothing in question falls off because it has been grabbed and yanked away from the wearer by an overly-enthusiastic fangirlgoblin... is it? After all, Monica's top couldn't possibly have been designed with that sort of fabric-ab...

Re: Husband who gave birth may not be able to get divorce...

There have also been cases in Boston, where same-gender marriage is allowed, where a Catholic church was sued by a gay couple for refusing to marry them, citing that it is their right to get married. While preposterous in theory, the actual litigation was rather expensive, and as a result, it's bee...

Re: Husband who gave birth may not be able to get divorce...

Actually, virtually all of the gender, rights and responsibility issues vanish if any two consenting adults can have a marriage and call it a marriage. Yup... and the western legal systems have been headed in this direction for quite some time. Marriage used to be a highly-asymmetrical relationship...

Well, I did one last evening which worked out quite well (that is. I liked it and my wife liked it, and that's good enough for this household). It was a fairly simple-and-easy "baked winter squash" recipe. I had bought a small kabocha squash and we had a delicata that a friend had given us...

Come to think of it, we have yet to see how Phix, Shelly, and Monica react to catnip. It might be their kryptonite, so to speak... a squirter full of aerosolized, weaponized catnip extract might be the ultimate anti-sphinx deterrant. The thought of seeing a 20' multi-ton uber-powerful sphinx splatte...

Re: I have a store!

The reason I mentioned the Baker scarf, is that every time I make and wear one, I invariably end up with either someone buying it off my neck for ridiculous sums, or a note from a sib's friend with cash attached that they have permanently "borrowed" my scarf. I've only made four(thirteen ...
