Re: A bit of feedback...

I'll try to remember to talk to Paul and see how he wants to handle it. Either as a synopsis structure on the main site, or in the forums (maybe with a link from the main site). Either way, he should probably be the one to go over the synopsis and make sure it says what he expects it to. (and maybe ...

Re: How to Care for $800 Bras

Well, another way to do it is to get a crank/tabletop washing machine.

Here are a couple of examples -

The first link also has some dryers.

Yup. Very old bridge. Poor county, and when the thing was on fire, who knows how much water was even in the river.

I've probably seen the thing when driving through that area, but I wouldn't remember.

I've been busy, and still haven't much time, but I'll throw in my two bits. European mythology IS american mythology. My family is Canadian... and Irish, Scots, Belgian, English, and Micmac. Tolkien apparently used some _American_ background in creating The Hobbit.. http://www.thenewerworld.com/2012...

Re: It's not a laser WEAPON, unfortunately

Frankly, I don't believe I am. I'd say that for every bicycle I see that waits at the light - JUST LIKE I DO, I see at -least- sixty that don't. Before you continue on with the "Bookworm's an asshole driver who hates cyclists" rant, I'll point out the following. When a bicycle is in the st...

Re: Cell Phones - Love/Hate?

As an IT person who has a smart phone, and uses _maybe_ 5% of the functions, I can say that if you don't need the smart phone functionality - don't pay for it. Get yourself a cheap prepaid junker phone. The battery will last a lot longer, the sound will be about the same (maybe better, because of ph...

Re: It's not a laser WEAPON, unfortunately

As a driver, I feel like most of the cyclist should have their bicycles removed from them. Houston is covered with bike lanes stolen from the car lanes - ignoring the fact that we have a thousand (or more) times more cars than bikes on most of those roads. So, what used to be four lanes (two each wa...

I wish that people wouldn't be allowed to patent anything unless they do what they used to be required to do. Walk into the office with a proof of concept, or at least evidence that one has been built. (in case of a manufacturing line, for example) No more "I thought this up, so I'm patenting i...

Something to think about. IF the father was taking photographs of a consenting pair of adults in flagrante delicto to be used as _evidence_, that's attempted blackmail. Or attempted 'child pornography' by the federal definition. It sounds like there were some strings pulled, especially since I doubt...

Apologies for MIA

I have a number of things going on right now, so I've been 'missing' from most of the places I would frequent online. Over the next month or so, there will be a number of changes, including possibly downsizing my hosting server (The largest resource/bandwidth hog moved to another site. I don't know ...

It does sound like a caching problem - like it's trying to load what was there before, which has been moved. If you don't already have it, download and install CCleaner (originally crap cleaner). It's free from Piriform. The basic 'run' cleans your history, temporary files, cache (for all major brow...

Last year I don't think we got snow until 2 days after Christmas. :( Our water levels in all our lakes are way down, and we're still dealing with 90-100+ temperatures, and now we're heading into wildfire season. We've already had a few doozies, and the lightning storms (minus friendly rain) have st...

Howard Tayler is in a completely different universe (literally/figuratively) when it comes to being a webcomic artist. Yup - but Iliad managed it as well. So did (Crap. Trying to remember the name.
