Re: car advice
To be honest, I'm not a gear head. I never saw the point in a muscle car. "Sure, it'll go zero to sixty... in the time it takes to empty the gas tank". Give me something practical, with high gas milage and low maintenance costs. You know, about the polar opposite of a muscle car. As long a...

Re: Jaguar Girl 2012-09-14
I would've figured it would be obvious by now... I mean, come on. Who was it that Tepoz first talked to? Our overly endowed yet vertically challenged heroine is the link between the demon world and this one. That's pretty much the definition of the Jaguar Girl in Aztec mythos. Seriously, do ya think...

Re: Where were you at 0846 EDT on 9/11/01?
Schneekey - Wow. I've learned a lot about the emergency response during 9/11, but I never knew about the way supplies got there. I'm also glad to know that there are people out there who know when the rules can and must be broken. A lot got said about the emergency crews, but yours is the first sto...

Re: The Vampires are Coming
Quite frankly, I hope they aren't 'merely misunderstood'. I simply cannot abide having a decent monster neutered because they are 'simply misunderstood'. Then again, I also have a fairly low opinion of the current rendition of the goth culture as a whole, particularly that subset of the goth culture...

Re: Where were you at 0846 EDT on 9/11/01?
I was at work, with American Airlines Cargo, in the middle of pulling a double, having been there since 9 PM the previous night, working the overnight, and covering for someone on the morning shift. Then suddenly the lines went berserk. Now, mind you, we had about a hundred individuals on the phones...

Re: Self Healing 2012-08-06
Why, ye call an' American a Yankee, that's common practice out in England. You call a feller Yaknee south of th' Mason-Dixon line... yer liable t' get th' loan of his very second best Colt .45, jest so he won't be said to have shot an unarmed man. Fixed it for you. Otpu Oh goodness no. Bein' a sout...

Re: Self Healing 2012-08-06
Yes, but keep in mind the European concept of "Cowboy" is very different than the American one. (followed by loads of information that was cut to keep this quote short) Well that's neat to learn. I can't say I've ever thought of a cowboy as a renegade or bad guy (growing up in Texas did p...

Re: Quirky Girl
Well, that was an interesting way to fish for a guy. And here is a gift for the forum. ... Ummmm, I hate to mention that when I tried to make my payment recently, I found your nice box had exploded from the variety and quantity of items in it. I suspect we need something like that, only about 5 met...
