Re: 400 in One Blow, the West is On Fire...

Almost every online forum I'm on that has an "off-topic" area has had at least one discussion of large forest fires, burnt-down towns, and smoke in the air affecting vision and breathing, sometime in the past month. A couple photos from Spokane. Top: Normal times. Note the very-wide white ...

With a stroke already in the equation, there isn't a real need for a serotonin problem to explain the situation.

But from what I've seen of *mild* serotonin overloads, a serotonin problem definitely *could* be all or a significant part of the problem.

If it were proven that there really are vampires, more or less in accordance with the mythology, and some of them are cops... might that deter some crime?

Now I know what to do when something breaks at work. in case you're interested - i created that font myself. Imagine practicing law in THAT environment! You would want to do so very well, very professionally, very ethically, or not at all. I suspect that the penalty for legal malpractice might not stop at disbarment. Just one extra syllable - "mem" - would be applied. You can guess where it goes.

The scariest part is Devyn seemed totally calm about the whole thing. Very much the sociopath. I don't see that at all. Remember, this place is familiar territory to her. She knows that (figuratively) those creepy noises are insects, and the four glowing monster eyes up there are a pair of raccoons...

Excuse me, but I find that expression annoying. The only thing that is chemical-free is hard vacuum. The sort you find about a light-year from here in any direction. Any physical object - including air and water - is 100% chemicals.

I haven't actually seen a forest fire this year - just the hay fire near Moses Lake about a month ago. However, I did drive I-90 across eastern Washington on Monday (will do it again the other direction on Friday) and it was smoky the entire way. And I-90 isn't that close to the fires. A couple year...

It's a lonely place to be when everyone looks at you like a geek or worse because you don't smoke, drink, do anything the cool kids do... I was a band geek... I kept to myself and led a straight life in school and was kinda ostracized for it. I wasn't really accepted by the power people OR the band...
