Re: First Introductory Thread

I'm not a bot. Just a veteran of the type mines and editing services camps of the rapidly evaporating North American publishing industry. Registered to show support for Pablo and the forum. Never posted much, but have been reading the comments almost daily for a long time. Probably first came to Wa...

Re: It tastes like a creamsicle!

My favorite 'non-alcohol' tasting alcoholic drink is a healthy shot of peppermint schnapps in a hi-ball glass, ice cubes and fill with 7-Up or Sprite. It tastes like peppermint soda. Be careful, it's sneaky and will tilt the room when you try to walk away after several of them. I'll have to try tha...

Re: Pecking Order 2012-08-14

I have long wanted to see Phix do what Sphinges do. She's an awesome being - wise, caring, and kind - but she's always seemed a bit out of character with the teacup and all. It does my heart good to know that, after all, she doesn't deny her true nature. This strip just keeps getting better and bet...

Re: Pecking Order 2012-08-14

Oh good lord, she's cannibalistic too? She eats other sentient beings after she murders them? This has just gone from gory and disgusting to loathsome and sickening. I don't believe it was ever confirmed she actually ate demons, just killed them. The sphinx life may be brutal, but are there no laws...

Re: Pecking Order 2012-08-14

Just a quick post before being banned. As I predicted (it's so easy to predict), when it comes to gory killing taking place in the comic (in the current time period), it would be of males by a female. Actually, come to think of it, the only really gory killings shown before were of males by a femal...

Re: Pecking Order 2012-08-14

...not unless the human male in question was powerful enough to bind her in some fashion - don't know of any that would even come close to it; I think the 'f$#!ed' reference was more colloquial than literal, calling her weak for being taken advantage of. Phix seems to have been somewhat submissive ...

Re: So Weak 2012-08-13

Why are we assuming a "he"? I mean, yes, we may be looking at pectorals instead of breasts, but we may not be. Don't get me wrong...I think it would be interesting to introduce more male characters to this story, but it's never good to assume in Wapsi. Just sayin'. :)

2. The beings that Monica is co-existing with are powerful and dangerous. No matter how humane they act they are still very dangerous beings with the power to level cities and kill million, if not billions on a whim. While these beings may be kind and loving, they are still sentient, emotional enti...

Re: Warmin Kiss 2012-08-10

i think that all the talk about titans gorgons and the such being dangerous is a bunch of BS, they are powerful yes, and it seems like quite a few have issues to say the least. but they are capable of conscious thought, they are responsible for their actions, if they didn't want to be menacing, or ...

My name in real life is John, so I had to use something else in the comments and forums... Prester Fred came to me in a moment of mad inspiration. A spin on Prester John? I've recently read a book where I learned that Prester John was the king of Ethiopia back in the day (or some other far-flung la...

Wow. This is a surprisingly difficult question. There are several who I think are very lovely. Tina. I think she is very nice-looking, and her almost constant cheerful positiveness can be contagious. She is also very loyal to her friends. Bud. She is so funny and self-deprecating, while being so se...

Re: Warmin Kiss 2012-08-10

Sometime what you really need is someone to be there. I think for her time in the time forrest, Nudge and Phix filled that role. If you think about it, Phix has been more of a mother to Shelly than Bia was. Some one said that Shelly had seven older brothers. If Bia's ultimate aim was to breed a Sph...
