Re: Camel Spider Food 2014-10-02
Boy, would I have been embarrassed... Yes. "A dromedary, thank you" is always an acceptable response to the question you're going to be asked, after you politely say to your host "May I have a camel in my coffee, please?" No, it's "One hump, or two?" ===========...

W10 at least senses what device you're using it on and throws up the appropriate interface - i understand they demonstrated it running on a Surface with its keyboard attached, and then took the keyboard off, and it automatically switched from a keyboard-centric interface to a touch screen one.

Reports: China body-searched 10,000 pigeons Beijing domestic security police officer Guo Chunwei was quoted in the Jinghua Times as saying workers checked the wings, legs and anus of each pigeon ahead of time to ensure they were "not carrying suspicious material." The entire process was v...

Downloaded, installed in VirtualBox - uninstalled from VirtualBox - resolved to see if i could stockpile a couple of Windows 7 OEM licenses for future machines. I do NOT wish to use an OS that requires me to sign in to my own computer using an online account. It's still ugly, even though its mama do...

Re: We don't got to show you no steenkin' Windows 9!
Downloaded it, burned it and it wouldn't install on the partition i wanted to, because it was on an MBR drive. I've got a Seagate drive i (mostly) retired because it got somewhat unreliable that i'm gonna reformat to GPT and put it there; i'll be triple-booting Windows 7 and 20 and Xubuntu... I hope.

Contrast Calista in today's last panel and in yesterday's last panel...

I love Dietzel's range of expressions...

Re: Dietzel Sweetie 2014-09-30
That Other Comic already existed in 2002 (started in 2000, it seems). And the combination is implied. I can just imagine Paul in 2002 going "hey, why isn't anyone noticing the reference?" And then in 2004, he ups the ante with a "Dietzel! Sweetie," and still no one notices ... ....

Or you can just throw yourself down in front of her and beg real fast for mercy, or at least a quick, relatively painless, death. As Kai Lung says: There are few situations in life that cannot be resolved, and that qui...
