Hard drives were referred ta as "Winchester" drives - the disk controller cards we used at AMI in 1990 - 92 had the HD connector marked "Winchester".
The name was a nickname for the very first HDD, developed at, i think, IBM, which had two platters, each holding thirty meg.

Should anyone be concerned, that the Library can teleport anyone at will, without any previous consent or forewarning? Why assume that the Library did it on its own? Remember Eurayle asking for hammer and chisel to chip Nudge out of the lava shell? I suspect that Monica asked it to bring him there.

Cue Dietzel talking to Cricket and sending the forum into a frenzy over whether he can really speak or if she just happens to understand dogs. Ditzel's ability to be understood without the use of words, thought balloons or other gimmicks is one of his most endearing attributes. Hopefully that never...

I'm more of a designer than an artist - i do better at assembling elements into finished graphics than i do at creating the elements, if that makes sense.

This was a one-of-a-kind "vintage" item, supposedly looking like that because of wear and fading.

My Nikon shoots 24 megapixel images.
I would be able to get somewhat more than thirty thousand of the largest, highest-quality JPEGs it produces - or 9000 RAW images.
