Yeah... not running around loose at his original building-crushing power levels these days.

Re: Get to Mapimi 2013-04-26

Short Round... That cracked me up. I wonder how you "dial" a stargate without moving parts? You dial using the genetic markers in the skin to activate the material. Better than finger prints. This might actually be a strong clue that Kathy is the other Anasazi still living. And, based on ...

i don't mind the other restrictions like anti swearing, and racism, no advertising of products, and moderation etc, that's kinda standard now days... but the lack of a save for WIP's (and no edit once saved) is ridiculous. Sorta requires that you build one in realspace to make sure you've got it rig...

Umm...no honey, you don't. You see, it would take a seriously traumatic series of events to create that kind of personality and...hey! Are you even paying attention, young lady?!? :P You'd think that Atsali might have learned a bit more by now, about being careful what you wish for - "adventur...

Not ponies, HAL. Arrows and knees.

I don't wince at ponies... unless, of course, one takes an arrow to the knee.

That would definitely not be 20% cooler.

No, Atsali, you don't.

At least, you really don't want to have to grow up and lose your innocence in the way Brandi did. What you would surely lose in the process, could be much more of yourself than you can imagine. Being suave, cool, and able to poit ain't worth the price.

Re: Last Two 2013-04-24

As I said earlier, the word "living" may not really be what Brandi is after. "Ambulatory," perhaps? Maybe Brandi is the other. It seems fairly well established that Brandi is of north African descent, and as a Lanthian subject she'd date back somewhere around 10,000 years (not c...

Re: Last Two 2013-04-24

Lily is Anasazi.......there's a hook I wasn't expecting at all. I wonder who the second Anasazi is? Ah, but is Lily truly one of "the last two living Anasazi"? Are Wapsiverse vampires truly alive (i.e died, and then actually returned to life)? In the common mythos, vampires are usually de...

Paul did a wonderful job of portraying the differences between naive Brandi who wouldn't hurt a fly with her wide eyed open countenance contrasting perfectly with the half closed eyed seductive mien of fem fatale Senior Director Brandilyn Oduya with secrets to keep. I'm going out on a limb with the...

Re: Last Two 2013-04-24

Ummm... if she says "two weeks" and her head comes off, RUN! ;) It does seem as if the dual-personality angle is the right one. I wonder whether both are truly aspects of the real Brandi, or whether the "senior director" is an externally-imposed entity (demonic or otherwise). As ...

Sali's is being a smartass. The fries comment is really a good one. So I guess at least one end of her has to be smart. Oh, I think both ends of her are quite smart. Sensible, now? Well, that's another question entirely. Having intelligence, having knowledge, and having the common sense that God ga...

I also agree with the few who've pointed out that Brandi's tone only confirms her awareness of the adventure, which isn't breaking news since we knew the Library had informed the MiB of Kat and Atsali's "quest." Even if she had some hand in the planning of Kat and Atsali's meeting, I high...

Starbucks? Are you even allowed to say that name this close to Mucho Mocha? There's plenty of precedent. They've been asking "Do you renounce Satan and all of his works?" in church for centuries! :) And I agree, I wouldn't care to be on the receiving end of that quiet "Excuse me?&quo...
