Re: Windows 10

Great balls of fire, why are you people having so much trouble with Windows 10??? I'm loving it. Not only is it working flawlessly, it fixed my computer! I'm beginning to wonder if there's something going horribly wrong with my laptop but I just haven't noticed it... LITTLE DID I KNOW That weird dl...

I’d love to share my technique for a password but this is a public forum. Bookworm’s is pretty damn good, though.

Oh. Damn. 31-inchers are the longest I could find quickly.

I imagine you’ll have to get them custom-made.

Re: First Date 2019-02-28

Depends on the people involved, the context of the date, and the momentary desires versus inhibitions of each person. I’ve had first dates go WAY quicker, and no they weren’t one-night stands. Etiquette is... an extremely broad generalization. I agree wholeheartedly with Opus, and would add the foll...

Re: One at a Time 2019-02-27

The idea that Pickle needs anyone to act as a "guardian" is hilarious. The only harm they might be able to guard her from is hurt feelings. It reminds me of in the comic books seeing the Justice League go flying around in WW's invisible jet, and there's Superman in his seat, safely strapped in with...

She's never visited a very popular teen hang-out spot that parents will actually not object to? ...to be fair, I never did... unless I was under duress from family to “socialize with my peers” when I’d rather read a book. And that “hangout” was invariably a football game. And even then, I ended up ...

Re: Just Glowing 2019-02-25

Well... it takes 2-3 tablespoons to start to trip, according to most sites I glanced at. 1 at the least. Minimum dosage of nutmeg that can cause psychogenic effect is 5 g (ground nutmeg) . And Google tells me that 2 tea spoons of nutmeg is about 4.75g. Huh. Ok. I was only doing a cursory search, so...

Re: Just Glowing 2019-02-25

Well... it takes 2-3 tablespoons to start to trip, according to most sites I glanced at. 1 at the least. A whole nutmeg has been reported to make people have nutmeg psychosis for up to 6 months. I guess it has a long-ass biological half-life. I couldn’t find any solid data on the LD50 of actual nutm...

He’s also a hot new kid who has a non-standard backstory.

That shit spreads like wildfire.

I maintain that they probably know of him, but they likely don’t know much truth about him - 90% of what they have is rumor

The thing is, the girls have just been confronted with someone they probably never saw before, who knows all about them. As if he were a stalker who they didn't even know existed. He’s in their grade. Dunno how big your school is, but I suspect they might know of him. He’s observant about facts, ju...

He’s being attractive, and letting it be known that he actually pays attention to, and likes, people who think he is completely out of their league. See: Devyn losing her shit at the pool when Atsali said she wished she was like her. I honestly don’t get it either, but I never idolized the popular k...

That seems a bit like how coral and the embedded algae in the polyps work. I imagine it would require integration from the embryonic stage - integrating later would involve a LOT of pain on the part of the not-Castela person and immune responses... likely from both parties. Not to mention Lovecrafti...

Re: Covered 2019-02-10

Hey, Glytch, before you get too into accusing us of sexism, none of us said there was anything wrong with the comic focusing on women. It's always been that way. What we repeatedly say is that we're just getting tired of how the main characters are continuously being written to be lesbians. Also, I...
