Thanks for the detailed instructions. And it turns out that the cross-eyed method is indeed what I thought it was. Alas, I suck at it! I have a hard time making the middle image line up, as the right image is always a little lower, and I have a hard time making it stay there...

A while back, I did suggest that looking for the link to prove my answer would take a while, and that anyone else who might find it first could post the next question... so I'm not opposed to group efforts... On the other hand, maybe I should start taking note of the link to my own questions' answer...
