Personally, my favorite word in German (so far as I've seen) is the word for ambulance.

"Krankenwagen"

Re: More Stuff

I found out Monday afternoon that the reason my mom was home early on Friday was because she lost her job. She had been working for the state for nust over 26 years. So this may or may not put a slight damper on my plan to pay off my car loan and then start saving a bunch of money so I could go to t...

I find it kind of interesting how the mother has her top pair of eyes and her bottom left eye on her daughter, and the other three on her cooking.

I haven't really paid much attention, but is Castela's the new Bud, in that she's a leggy girl?

(Also, I wanna see more of Bud. We haven't gotten to see all that much of her in a while...)

Re: The Wapsi Square Character and Storyline List

I think I saw her once or twice in the series from the late 80s/early 90s. I know she was in one of the books that are for early readers, and that's where I learned her name.

Re: GMC Crate motor Recommendations

I'd love to get one of those old Jeeps, but the problem is that they're open on the sides, which can be unpleasant in the cold, or in bad weather. Do they have a means of closing off the sides?

Re: More Stuff

Actually, I was gonna go to the mountain, because there's not a lot of leaf litter at all in the yard around the house, and there's rabbits all over the place. However, I may not actually go, because I may or may not have slept on a nerve again, because my left hand, wrist, forearm, and a small area...

Re: More Stuff

The tooling guy at work said that it's best to have someone who knows how to cook squirrel show me how to cook them, otherwise I wouldn't like the meat. But all night I've been thinking about trying to get a rabbit some time this week, preferably before Thursday (or maybe Thursday morning), and havi...

I bought a grill this morning. We just had steaks and pork chops. The steak damn near fell apart from just my fork.

I'm gonna get into hunting small game this winter, focusing on rabbits and squirrels. Anyone got any good recipes for either one?

That reminds me, it's been a while since we've seen Atsali. I also thought we'd see more of Skylar, given that she got a couple of pin ups.

Well, that old cat my dad picked up a few years ago that won't use the litter box? He decided that he's taking the cat to the animal shelter Saturday (that, or he's gonna tell me to go). She isn't a bad cat; she just needs to be the only cat in the home and needs a little bit of care that nobody rea...

Re: On The Landing 2019-10-28

An observation and a speculation: Observation: Mindy has fangs when she has her glasses on ... but not when they're off. Speculation: That's Connie on the landing. It looks like she has the bottom fangs without her glasses, though. Someone mentioned that she's descended from Aphrodite, so either al...

Re: Photo Album

I had once gotten a nose-on picture of one of the F-22 prototypes at the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson. The rod that extended from the nose looked like a dot in the viewfinder, but the picture didn't turn out right.

Also, B2s are friggin' intimidating in person.
