Does anyone else see Nadette's ear boners happen and fill in the lack of a sound effect with the sound that you get when you kick a door stopper spring? Disregarding everything else about how much sense it makes for vampires to wind up in law enforcement, it also makes perfect sense that a species seen as bugs to be smashed would wind up among the most law-abiding of paranormals.
