Re: Full Disclosure discussion section

I pronounce it Rich-er - as in richer or poorer as you make the comparison. Al would pronounce it the same - origins of the name are lost as is his genealogy for obvious reasons but likely a French influence somewhere generations back. Thank you. I think that's how I always "heard" it in my head, w...

Re: Full Disclosure discussion section

Just finished reading. Bravo! Bravo! (Can'T think of anything else to add, as I would be recapping the story, which most people who have made it to here probably already know...) Having said that, I can't remember whether I've asked this before, or if it ever was mentioned: How do you pronounce Al's...

I understand the principle, and why it was important to him, but I definitely side with Daisy on this one. It matters little where you came from, it matters who you are now (unless, of course, we're talking about some sort of criminal past, which would need to be atoned for and perhaps attended to b...

Re: Full Disclosure discussion section

A bit late in starting to read this... Very moving start. A touching service and all the accompanying events. But like someone said, those ninja onions ought not to have been invited, and the place really should have been dusted a little better... :P As for the "Real" Al, while it was quite interest...

I wonder if the so called alternate time lines are just memories of previous play throughs of the main time line during the calendar deal. We know there were 10's of thousands of play throughs before the one shown. So the flow of time may not match exactly giving us younger Barbra and an older Mind...

Suggestions for a decent freeware web editor welcome, please! Open Office sux at webyy work, Crimson Editor is for smaller stuff, and DreamWeaver (my old pro days tool) is way too $$$ for what little I do now. Ever tried Bluefish ? I use that when editing table templates for my bicycling journals o...

Guilty as charged on the Yahoo group thing.

Hovart is still active on Facebook, last I saw.
Well colour me surprised! I had completely forgotten that he was in my FB friends list...
Thanks for the reminder, which was opportunity for me to see photos of him again.

Mindy is experiencing a practical demonstration of the Universal Theory of the relative verdance of Poaceae with relation to artificial barriers at first hand.
Took me a moment to realize what you were talking about there...

Hovart Jaegerduck. <<QVRAAAAKK!!>> Err... I mean, YES! ... ... Wait... YOU're the "Joseph H. " who was posting in the Girl Genius Yahoo group? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't someone make a plushie of Hovart, at one point, with photos as proof? (And Hovart was, if I recall, a duck that had dran...

Hello and how are you? I'm ducksbeast (DB for short). I've been a webcomic addict since Keenspot in late `01, and I'm a longtime WS reader. And now I'm trying out this forum thing because I haven't been a part of an active forum since... uh... well, let's just say I can't remember. Welcome to the f...

Mindy's face is normally angular, but in the second panel, not so much... I was sure the second panel was Monica. (Except for the fact that she is not named in the tags below...) Had that been Monica, then that might have meant that whatever is going on in the mansion, she felt it at a distance, whi...

Also, the boxer engine layout that i believe Subarus use would make the engine shorter, allowing more legroom. That, I knew... The engine in there was so small... a 1.8 L. engine, but only as deep as two cylinders. Think of a V4 engine (no, not a typo, V4, not V8) that was flattened, so that the cy...

Oddly enough, the Ford Festiva (NOT the Fiesta) was a tiny car. It also had enough head room that my 6' father, with most of his height in his torso (just like myself) could get in the car without a problem. My 5'2" mother could ALSO drive the car. I once had a two-door Subaru GL, front-wheel drive...

Last week, at work, a bunch of supervisors were outside, standing around an electric car that had been brought in for evaluation, or something like that. I forget the actual make of the car, but it really doesn't make a difference... They were told that this was supposedly "a car for everyone", as i...

Beats how you have to replace the headlight in a VW "New" Beetle. Or in a Chrysler PT Cruiser. Probably similar to the Pontiac Vibe and Toyota matrix. It involves removing the front bumper, and sometimes the fender as well. Front bumper... You mean, that thin plastic cover which sits over an equall...

Well, that one takes the cake! (Carrot cake, I suppose... And that's no lie! :P ) Season 3...by then, they had irreparably fallen into the "Monster of the week" pattern...
