Yes, you can really feel the repentance from here...

Go ahead, comic the read, and tell me what you think... :P

Hey look! Another male character! :o

Oh wait... no label for him... I guess we won't be seeing him much, in the future...

Re: Scary Monsters 2020-01-10

While I may find some bugs creepy, I am not afraid of any, that I know of. Nothing that would make me panic, should I find one on me, at any rate. The only fear that I am aware of, is the fear of losing my keys down a sewer grate. I keep an eye on where I park, and should there be a sewer grate near...

Re: Scary Monsters 2020-01-10

Maybe she needs to read the book The monster at the end of this book ... For those not familiar with the book, it is a Sesame Street book, starring Grover... I used to read it to my kids, when they were younger. It's cute. Here is a nice adaptation of it, on YouTube, complete with full images from t...

Ha! Here's an oddly interesting quote (as always, from my wallpaper changer):

Re: GMC Crate motor Recommendations

There's a townhome that I used to walk by and occasionally the garage door was open. Inside is a Willys jeep, don't know what year since I don't know the model details, plus never have seen the owner outside. To me it is a 40's model, not early, perhaps late or post-WW2. You just reminded me of som...

Armistice took effect 11/11/1918. Or is there something about the 1919 date I am unaware of? There's always something! All that heavy use of LSD in the 1960's caused one of the years in that decade to skip. Scientists have yet to figure out how to re-insert it back into the timeline. It needn't eve...

Re: Holiday Season 2019-11-27

Typical Canadian that I am, I was wondering why he was taking a Christmas hiatus so early... then I went to the comic page, and saw that he was returning on Dec. 2, and wondered what holiday he might be talking about... Then I clued in... Oh yeah... it's Thanksgiving, over there... I forgot: we have...

Don't you just hate it when you want to take a photo of a group of people, and one of them is too tall to fit into the frame... :P Meanwhile... local adj 1: relating to or applicable to or concerned with the administration of a city or town or district rather than a larger area; "local taxes"; "loca...

Re: Come Running 2019-11-22

Huh. Are those tears n Barbara's eyes, last panel? The way I look at it, I see, from top to bottom (at eye level that is...) frowning eyebrows, semi-closed eyelids (in an angry at being embarrassed fashion) and pupils/the eyes themselves (can we really count them as pupils, I don't know) looking aw...

Ooo... How trilling... Oddly enough, I have harder time rolling my Rs than most other French speaking people... and it's not an influence of my being so fluent in English, as it's always been the case. Hmmm. Can you roll your tongue? That is, can you bend it into a tube-like "U" shape? So...

Re: Full Disclosure discussion section

I pronounce it Rich-er - as in richer or poorer as you make the comparison. Al would pronounce it the same - origins of the name are lost as is his genealogy for obvious reasons but likely a French influence somewhere generations back. Thank you. I think that's how I always "heard" it in my head, w...

Re: Full Disclosure discussion section

Just finished reading. Bravo! Bravo! (Can'T think of anything else to add, as I would be recapping the story, which most people who have made it to here probably already know...) Having said that, I can't remember whether I've asked this before, or if it ever was mentioned: How do you pronounce Al's...

I understand the principle, and why it was important to him, but I definitely side with Daisy on this one. It matters little where you came from, it matters who you are now (unless, of course, we're talking about some sort of criminal past, which would need to be atoned for and perhaps attended to b...

A bit late in starting to read this... Very moving start. A touching service and all the accompanying events. But like someone said, those ninja onions ought not to have been invited, and the place really should have been dusted a little better... :P As for the "Real" Al, while it was quite interest...

I wonder if the so called alternate time lines are just memories of previous play throughs of the main time line during the calendar deal. We know there were 10's of thousands of play throughs before the one shown. So the flow of time may not match exactly giving us younger Barbra and an older Mind...
