Well -
Bookworm did the trick and now I am able to review backward and forward without any hitches. Also, the archive works so I can jump back to when I stopped reading an read through. It will be about 4 years worth. Thanks.

Re: Something's Missing
Just tried that link. viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3681 That takes me to the forum page with the embedded comic, showing comic 02072005, which I see in the forum. When I click on the link to http://wapsisquare.com/comic/02072005/ on that forum page... I get a blank white page. I can not see any of the o...

Re: Something's Missing
That sounded like a good suggestion. I cleaned out the cache and tried to move through the website again. This time I could bring up the archive and it even showed the comics I had tried to view. Next I tried to move backward from the current page... It failed and went to a blank screen on the first...

Re: Something's Missing
:?: I had sort of fallen off the wagon and not kept up with Wapsi for a while. Then about six months ago I happened to see a sketch by Paul in Deviant Art and decided to catch up on about a year of past comics... Well, has anyone had difficulty viewing strips that are older than about a week. I seem...

Re: Just A Kid 20115-04-06
The adults seem to be long on how things should be but short on advice for how things are. Atsali has to live in the real world of imperfect people/beings. Telling someone how the world and it's inhabitants should conduct themselves is pretty much meaningless. The truth is you pretty much just have...

Yet that does not prevent them from "dancing". I get your point but that holds for any basic physical ability. The question is like asking when does someone learn to talk? There is no fixed point in time but rather a slowing improving scale of comprehension but the user and others. As with...

And I just found an inconsistency in Katherine's story! I am Soooo disappointed. I mean, is it too much to ask, that an author keep his facts straight over a decade and a half of storytelling? Hmm? :P :P  Not like the old Paul makes all that many mistakes... well he does but we will not get in...

Re: Still Not Asking For It 2015-03-27
This would have been a much stronger strip had her anecdote been drawn, thereby making it more of a third person rendition of the events and not simply her interpretation of others. That is the basic problem with how this whole recent topic is being depicted. Atsali is making as many assumptions abo...

I really don't like those braids. She's not wearing them for you. ;) In fact, this is exactly the situation that Jin was discussing in panel 4. 8-) Absolutely. I said i didn't like 'em - sort of talking to the air - and if she heard me, she'd be absolutely free to ignore me or tell me to go pee up ...

Re: Anyone else save strips?
I liked this thread question enough to go dig around my archive and found that I have exactly 7 Wapsi Strips that I have saved. Almost all of these I secured at the time they were posted so they have been on various hard drives, memory sticks or CD's over the years. 1) "He's a Dog!" - the...

Re: Q: When did Monica learn to teleport? (poit)
She has always had the ability to teleport. We know this from a collection of events and disclosures in the strip over many years and the answer is more cumbersome because the basic question makes the assumption that in Monica's case her teleportation is an acquired ability vs. an innate ability of ...

Re: My Job 2014-11-04
I find the way these two "kids" are written rather nice. They really are too far apart in mental age to expect continued civil interaction which is a pit-fall of many parents. When the gap is more than around 4 years their development will remain staggered enough to insure that one or both...

Sounds like old Prince V did not ask the correct question. In both instances he was shown what happened with the death of someone. What he should have asked was about maintaining the status quo. He already knew that things would change if the Wizard was dead without asking the mirror so he had gaine...

She's a very bright little thorn... didn't take her long at all to realize the implications of what she had done. :( Actually she was told what and how she should feel via an unconfirmable fable designed to illicit guilt. Typical parenting 101. I love it when a character says "who is to say X ...

The big question, though, is how did a uryuom egg get from the EGS universe to the Wapsi universe? Also, why did someone think it would be a good idea to put a mixture of plant and animal material in it? I have always seen the Bibliotheki as a doorway between dimensions. Connected to the library of...

A teacher would never send other students to find one not in class especially when there is rumor of a recent fight - weak explanation or bad teacher. 'Princesses' are all over the place these days. As royalty is a totally arbitrary title denoting a recognized pedigree it is no more significant than...

Glad to see that others were also trying to determine the actual 'sound' of BEARNG ! From the sound clip provided by Paul it really comes across more like a BOING! seeing as the 'EA' phoneme would have a more swallowing resonance in English speaking ears. Plus I like to think that old PW slips in 'B...

Well just about an hour to go here in CST - 5:12am - totally cool when a arbitrary calendar system reaches a roll-over or toggle point. It is just neat to be around to see the Mayan long count cycle over. Within the world Wapsi this also brings up an odd "what date is it?" synchronization ...
