Re: Shaken Up 2019-10-16

Miss Nock is being waaaayyyy too scientific about this. Is her great-grandfather Hephaestus or something? (bonus points to whoever gets that reference...) My deity of choice was rather bereft of social graces (having your leg nearly removed and left crippled from getting tossed out of Olympus as an...

The feeling I get is Hiroshi doesn't understand what telling a girl she's "so light" will do to her. I may be on the high side of a half-century (by 11 years), but I'm not so old as I can forget girls' reactions to getting picked up and carried around with one hand in ballet class. Now getting tosse...

The evidence as shown in-comic seems to support multiple causes for ghosts, there might even be a third or fourth cause not yet placed in evidence. Or even a blend of the two, a stone tape in a parallel universe seeping over into ours. :ugeek:

Somehow, the thought of an Eldritch Horror freaking out because of a bug in her hair... {or whatever}
I would be more concerned about what was lifting her off the ground by her hair, notice the feet in the last panel.

Re: Medusa's Story (Formerly Patreon Only) 2019-08-13

Yep, Texas is so big that when I went to have lunch with an ex confined to a nursing home it was a 120 mile round trip, but because it was so short I just rode my bicycle. Every time I saw her, which was about 2 or 3 times a month. I started visiting her frequently after her doctor told me she showe...

Re: Medusa's Story (Formerly Patreon Only) 2019-08-13

I recall a reference to it as "West Texas", but i guess that was a joke... "They" also call Mesquite a west Texas town, and it's on the other side of me from Plano. And the town of West is about 70 miles due South from where I live, so where outsiders consider the various geographical parts of Texa...

Re: Medusa's Story (Formerly Patreon Only) 2019-08-13

Micheal Nesmith is from just up the road in Plano which is a suburb of Dallas. His Texas accent is real (Plano was a rural farm town back then) but not West Texas. That's a completely different and distinct accent from North Central Texas, which sadly has died out as the region became more suburban....

Yeah I have a name clone who likes to get married but doesn't like paying alimony. He seems to go wife-shopping in Korea every few years, probably when he gets stationed there (he has a USMC after his name).

Re: Update 2019-06-28

Latest from Paul's FB page is there is some kind of lien against a Paul Taylor for taxes that he didn't know about that he's trying to get straightened out because he thinks it's not him. More to come.

Re: Short Break 2019-05-17

So, what can we as a community do for Paul besides the things we normally do? I feel like we need to do something but have no clue as to what would be appropriate and not intrusive to the rest of the family.

Any suggestions?
